INT. LIVING ROOM. NIGHT
Two girls are sat at home on the sofa watching ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’.
GIRL A:
What if Freddy came in right now and killed us both!?
GIRL B:
Looking unimpressed at her.
Seriously!? It’s just a movie.
Someone knocks on the door and we hear a group shout ‘TRICK OR TREAT!’ outside. The two girls go and open the door very happily. They open it to see someone dressed as Freddy Krueger. There expressions then change to be very cautious.
GIRL B:
Hello?
‘Freddy’ lunges through the door and the girls scream. They both try and stop him coming through the door, but his razor gloved hand manages to reach round and slash one of the girls face.
We hear a scream as it fades to black.
We hear a news report saying ‘Two Girls were found dead in their beds after watching ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’. And see flowers placed next to a picture of the girls outside the house.
GIRL C:
Saying very scared.
The killer’s still out there.
We then see a boy getting killed by ‘Ghostface’.
BOY A:
Shocked.
The killer’s recreating horror movies.
Halloween!
We see GIRL C being chased by ‘Michael Myers’.
Scream!
We see one of the characters take off a ‘Ghostface’ mask.
A Nightmare on Elm Street!
We see Freddy’s glove making a move to one of the characters
Friday the 13th!
We see ‘Jason’ stalking a character in a car.
GIRL C is shown to be in a fit of hysterics.
BOY B:
Grabbing GIRL C to calm her down.
It’s just a movie!!
His hand then moves up to wipe away her tear which is shown to be Freddy’s gloved hand. She then notices and screams. We hear the words ‘Trick or Treat’ played over three times. Each time it’s played we see GIRL C arming herself with a knife, BOY C covering his ears crouched down in a corner and GIRL D covering her mouth in shock. Fades to black briefly.
GIRL C:
Holding a knife in her hand.
It’s just a movie!!!
Second silence. Jason appears behind her and grabs her. We hear a scream and then see the title of the film then the release date etc.
IT’S JUST A MOVIE!
